Include an "Add to Calendar" link in the Reservation Created emails
as a compromise to calendar syncing. The "Add to calendar" link is already a feature in the website when you view a specific reservation. On my Android phone, it is cumbersome to navigate to the website, log-in, and click the reservation and then click the link to add to calendar.
Flight Schedule Pro now sync’s with Google Calendar! See below for details.

The Google Calendar plugin requests overly broad permissions, which I do not feel comfortable granting:
"See, edit, share, and permanently delete all the calendars you can access using Google Calendar"
I suggest you modify those and/or just send calendar invites in the auto-generated emails.

The Google Calendar integration requires excessive permission to the customer calendar including deleting non-FSP event and remove calendars. Should be relatively easy to reduce the permission required or publish your own user calendars that can be subscribed in any calendar - not just Google. Or, as others have suggested, include "add to calendar" button to add the event to any calendar software.

I echo this idea... The current setup process for the calendar sync would be too much for the average Joe to step through. If this link was in a reservation email, that would be more helpful for them to step through to get the calendar sync set up. I'd suggest a link in an email saying something like "Click here to link this and future flight reservations to your digital calendar". I like the "add to calendar" link option too as stated above for the customers that are basically a one-time only flight session (ex. Discovery flight, Checkout, etc.). Thanks for listening!

Yes a simple solution for users of all device types. Just include the iCal attachment with the email. Simple solution. Not everyone uses Google for their calendar.

The Google Calendar sync is very heavy handed, requiring that I give rear/write permissions to all my calendars to FlightSchedulePro. The easy solution is what was originally requested by Andrew here, for the ical file to be included with the reservation email. This has the benefit of working with almost all calendar platforms, not just google calendar.

It will be a longer solution to sync it with exchange if app for exchange not made, but it will be cool
