This could be an additional revenue source for FSP, as another user stated there is the check mark for can receive text messages box. This needs to be a standard feature of FSP

For last minute aircraft, student, time, etc. changes to reservations for a high turnaround flight school, it would be very helpful to have the option to set notifications of these schedule changes to forward to a mobile number instead of just an email address. Most of our school's CFIs will almost always read their text messages when out in the field but rarely read their emails. It would be very helpful if dispatch didn't have to change the reservation as well as texting the CFI to confirm receipt of the reservation change.

So many mobile users don't check their email like they do with texts.
The user account settings already has a checkbox to allow receiving texts. Buy one of the many APIs and get it done.

Allow the system to auto send a txt to the number on file when reservations are changed or updated...

This is a service we are currently using and would add tremendous value if we could utilise this feature as well. Particularly 24 hours prior to flight.

I believe you already can. It has to be: phone#@carrier for example, I have students that are ##########@vtext.com (which is Verizon but if you look up other providers, you can find those too). It would be handier to just be able to enter in the phone number but I thought I'd pass this on.
I would like FSP to text my customers 24 hours prior to the start of their next appointment.
