  2. Allow and promote the use of ISO date format

    For us in Canada dates are very confusing since 3 different formats are in use: YYYY/MM/DD, DD/MM/YYYY and MM/DD/YYYY

    The only one that is unambiguous is YYYY/MM/DD - sorted from largest unit to smallest. This is the International Standards Organization format and follows most closely what we already see on METARs and other aviation related products. There is currently a bill before the Canadian parliament to adopt the ISO format for all legal documents.

  3. list sunrise and sunset

    I would like to see the sunrise / sunset time listed on the scheduling page. it would be a good heads up when making a reservation whether night flight might be a factor.

  5. Start the week on Monday in stead of Sunday.

    In Month View: Please do start the week on Monday in stead of Sunday. So we have a better view over the activities in the week-end. Or is there a way to change it myself?

  7. Email Reminders for Pilot Expiring Items

    Allow us to configure automated email drip series as reminders when a pilot's items are expiring: currency items, renter's insurance, medical certificate, TSA training, etc.

    This would automate the administration of pilots records.

  8. Please Add 'Week Vertical' view!

    When looking at my individual schedule it would be extremely helpful to have a 'Week Vertical' view that is like the "Day Vertical' view showing the hours down the left side and your available/unavailable times.

  9. add a priority pilot system

    Many co-ownerships have a "priority pilot" scheduling system, where each owner gets a turn at being the priority pilot in rotation. These terms usually last a week and usually start and stop before Friday to include long weekends.

    The priority pilot has unlimited schedule access to the airplane, and other pilots can reserve as well, but either a) the priority pilot must approve these reservations or b) the priority pilot can override these reservations, depending on how the co-ownership is set up.

  11. Instructors should be able to block individual students from scheduling a specific instructor

    I want to be be able to block a certain student from scheduling me, while allowing that student to be able to schedule other instructors.for example, call blocking certain phone numbers. There are certain students that I do not want to fly with for various reasons, but want to allow others to schedule me without going through me or front desk staff.

  12. Please return "Week vertical" view option

    The new interface has removed one of the most useful views: Week Vertical, allowing to view resource allocation for the complete week in a single click/view.

    Please add that back...

  14. Add a permission level to "View Comments"

    We don't want to expose all flight details, such as renter name, etc, but we would like to expose the comments so that other renters can have situational awareness.

  15. Require a MX description before allowing a plane to be down.

    Even with click-thru, if a plane is down but no description or cause has been given, I am unable to confirm the status of my plane. Knowing why a plane is down can influence future planning but sometimes the user needs to be conditioned to enter a reason. Communication is essential.

  16. Allow for multiple levels of currency by pilot.

    Pilot A has less than 150 hours of flight time. He must fly once every 30 days or a checkout is required. Pilot B has more than 150 hours so his currency period is extended to 60 days.

  17. Implement new Transport Canada 1 year medical validity age 40 and over.

    TC changed the category 1 medical validity rules. Now category 1 medical can be valid for 12 months provided no passengers are carried or the aircraft requires 2 crew.

  18. Automatically Select a aircraft in reservation

    We have one aircraft in the FSP system. We should eliminate the mouse click regarding selecting an aircraft for a reservation or maintenance. Would make the system much more user friendly.

    Just a thought.

  19. Why when i click the "today" button does it go to yesterday?

    modify the t"Today" button so when you click it it goes to the "today" screen instead of yesterday.

  20. Allow a custom message in reservation change notification emails.

    When overriding a reservation due to maintenance or other aircraft availability issues, I always try to send the affected pilots an explanation of why I'm doing it. This requires me to look up the email addresses of those pilots and compose a separate email. It would be really helpful if I had the ability to add explanatory text to the automatically generated emails.
