  2. Create an iPad app

    Older pilots like the larger display of a tablet and also use it for aviation apps like AOPA's FlyQ and Foreflight.

  5. Alert me when a resource becomes available

    If/when a resource comes open (an airplane or an instructor) for a time I would like to fly, I would like to create an alert. For instance, if all airplanes are reserved, and I want to use one of them during a period when it's reserved, I would like an email or text alert to tell me that whoever previously reserved it canceled their reservation.

  6. Maintenance Warnings during Dispatch / Check Out

    I would like see a warning of Maintenance when the aircraft is dispatched, if if the aircraft is near a maintenance reminder. For example in our flight school when an airplane is within 10hrs from a 100hr it would be nice to get a warning when checking out the flight as well as sending emails or texts when this reminder becomes close.

  7. Add check out/check in functionality to the iPhone App.

    This would be a great feature – inputting hobbs/tach directly into the app from in the a/c after a flight, and being able to see and verify the initial hobbs/tach.

    Right now, I write this down in a separate notes program, then input my data when I get back inside at a computer. :(

  9. Please return "Week vertical" view option

    The new interface has removed one of the most useful views: Week Vertical, allowing to view resource allocation for the complete week in a single click/view.

    Please add that back...

  10. Include an "Add to Calendar" link in the Reservation Created emails

    as a compromise to calendar syncing. The "Add to calendar" link is already a feature in the website when you view a specific reservation. On my Android phone, it is cumbersome to navigate to the website, log-in, and click the reservation and then click the link to add to calendar.

  11. Start the week on Monday in stead of Sunday.

    In Month View: Please do start the week on Monday in stead of Sunday. So we have a better view over the activities in the week-end. Or is there a way to change it myself?

  12. Email Reminders for Pilot Expiring Items

    Allow us to configure automated email drip series as reminders when a pilot's items are expiring: currency items, renter's insurance, medical certificate, TSA training, etc.

    This would automate the administration of pilots records.

  13. Allow us to mark a flight as cancelled vs deleted

    There are many times when we can't fly due to weather. We cxl the flights but don't want it to show as a normal flight. We need to be able to mark it cxl'd as red so it shows on the schedule. Too much good info is lost when we delete, expecially on intro flights.

  14. list sunrise and sunset

    I would like to see the sunrise / sunset time listed on the scheduling page. it would be a good heads up when making a reservation whether night flight might be a factor.

  15. Allow flight details to be exported to an electronic log book

    Upon capturing the flight information, allow it to be pushed/shared/uploaded to an electronic logbook, e.g. SafeLog.

    Allow the system to auto send a txt to the number on file when reservations are changed or updated...

  18. Allow booking colours to be seen in the iPhone app

    I like the recent adjustments to the iPhone app, it now seems to be a lot more useable and I will have to explore more. However, the visual cues we get from booking type colour assignments are very handy. The all-white theme of the iPhone layout makes it harder to see whats going on.

  19. Do not allow a user to make a reservation in the past

    i accidentally clicked on the Wednesday of last week rather than this week and made the reservation. This shouldn't be accepted by the system. I tried to delete the erroneous reservation but you can't delete a past reservation, which is appropriate, so long as you can't create one.

  20. Allow instructor confirmation of a booking via app, text, or email response...

    To my knowledge, the only present way to handle bookings is either allow anyone to freely book an instructor if their schedule shows open, OR, the student/renter sees the instructor available and has to call a staff member or the instructor to actually book the slot. I'd LOVE to see a feature where a student sees your availability, essentially REQUESTS the booking, and then the instructor either confirm or deny it via a text, app, or email response through FSP. This is a very basic feature inherent in products like Square's online scheduling service that I think would add great…
