Working with Billing Mismatches

You can validate whether invoices match the associated logged flight time to ensure that invoices are accurate.

In order to track billing mismatches, you'll need to define the Activity Type to determine whether to identify the billing status for that activity type, and if so, whether the invoiced time should be matched against logged flight time.

Once you have set up the activity types that you will track, as invoices are created, FlightSchedule Pro will identify whether the invoiced time matches logged flight time.

If an invoice is logged that does not match the flight time logged, the Billing Mismatch screen displays. You should either edit the invoice or enter a reason describing why the mismatch is being entered. The reason will display in the Reservation History.

About Billing Value Mismatch Checking

The following table shows how billing mismatches are calculated.

Searching for Billing Mismatches

You can identify invoices with a billing mismatch from the Reservations screen either for billed items or paid items (or both).

To find reservations with a billing mismatch:

  1. Select Reservations from the left navigation area.
  2. Select Future, Present, Past or enter a Date Range to identify which records you want to find.
  3. Select All Statuses and check the Billed (Mismatch) and/or the Paid (Mismatch) box.

  4. On any reservations you find, you can view the invoice and edit the sale if needed.
