Notes: This task requires that you have permission to Edit Roles.
This article will explain how to edit and review roles on your system.
It is important that you review your roles to become familiar with the settings for each role. When you're familiar with your roles, you're familiar with what users assigned to those roles are allowed to do. Even if you have already assigned users to the role, you can still review and edit the role at any time.
When you edit a role, all users assigned to that role will be effected by the changes, accept for any user's you have set overrides for.
To Edit a Role:
- Go to the Company menu and click Roles.
- Click the Edit icon next to the role you want to review or make changes to.
- Use the navigation on the left and buttons at the bottom of the page to move through the roles wizard.
- Make any necessary changes.
- Click Save.
