There are multiple ways to assign users to roles. When you assign a user to a role, you are assigning the role's permissions and preferences to the user which determines what they are allowed to do on Flight Schedule Pro. For example, if you assign a user to the Administrator Role, you would give that user administrative capabilities on Flight Schedule Pro.
If necessary, users can be assigned to more than one role. You can assign users to roles when you add a user manually, approve a user, or by editing the user's role in their personal profile. To make role assignment changes for multiple users at once, you can mass assign or mass remove users from a role.
It is recommended that you review each role you plan to use before you assign users to that role. Then you will know what users will be capable of doing on your system before you give them access. However, you can still make changes to a role even after you have assigned users it.
Keep in mind, the less roles you assign a user to, the easier it is to understand where the user is getting their permissions. Therefore, it is recommended that you only assign users to multiple roles when it is completely necessary. It is usually unnecessary to assign a user to multiple roles that have many overlapping permissions.
