How do I setup Billing & Invoicing? (v3)

The following is a brief outline on how to setup Billing & Invoicing

Add Tax(s)


The first thing you'll want to do is at a tax or two. Taxes can be applied to specific products or services while creating invoices.
To add Taxes:
  1. Login and go to Billing > Billing Setup > Taxes
  2. Click "Add New Tax"
  3. You can return to this page to add additional taxes later.?á One or two should be sufficient for now.

Add Line Items


Line items represent your products and services. You'll want to add a couple to get started
To add Line Items:
  1. Go to Billing > Billing Setup > Products & Services
  2. Click Add New Item

Create Invoices and Payments


Create invoices when people owe you money and enter payments when you collect money.
To Create Invoices:
  1. Go to Billing > Invoices
  2. Click Add New Invoice

View Customer Transactions & Balance


As you create invoices and payments for customers you'll want to keep a tab on current customer balances.
To view a customer's transactions:
  1. Go to Billing > Transactions
  2. Select a Customer at the top of the page to view that customer's transactions and outstanding balance
