Add a Gift Certificate Product in which you can enter a negative number. This could be mapped to a Quickbooks liability account and we would be able to track the liability. I say add a product instead of an overall feature so that Admins can turn this on or off if they desire - and you wouldn't;t have to change the default feature that you currently have that you can't enter a negative number
